Stittsville

Stittsville is a charming locale on the outskirts of Ottawa. It is southwest of Kanata, and about 31 km west of Downtown Ottawa. This small town is easily accessible from the city via public transportation and the 417 Highway.  It is a great place for families with a small-town vibe and high-quality schools, it is a close-knit community. Ottawa is so close, you won’t miss out on the pleasures of the big-city life. It is thriving with businesses and residential communities. You can get all of your shopping done without leaving Stittsville along Hazeldean and Carp Road. There are many big-box stores to choose from. 

The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board and the Ottawa Catholic School Board operate public primary and secondary schools in the neighbourhood. There are no post-secondary options in the neighbourhood, so residents must travel closer to the city centre to access institutions like Algonquin College, Academy of Learning College, Herzing College, the University of Ottawa, and Carleton University.
