In 1966, Maurice Poirier moved to Edmonton. For 25 years, he was an active resident of Capilano. He coached sports and even served as community league president. In honour of his generous service and leadership, the City of Edmonton named a 0.54 hectare park in his name. This house faces that park, in a very quiet part of a very quiet neighbourhood. It could easily be renovated to give it new life, or the site could be used as a blank canvas for a new property. A few blocks from Suzuki Charter School. Brick and stucco exterior. Shingles-2023. Triple-paned windows 1995. (id:31684)
